Best way to start saving for my children I (29m) and my wife (30f) are in a pretty good spot right now. My job covers all the bills so her check (~700) is extra. I put 10% in my 401k weekly (work matches 10% and im going to bump it up soon), roughly 10k in savings. 2 car payments, but we should be paying off one next year and start extra payments on the other.
