LPT: Perfect Soft Butter in microwave (no water!) Still in its wrapper, put a cold stick of butter in the microwave standing up. Cover it with a mug and microwave for literally like 6 seconds (or less). Butter will be be perfectly soft all the way through but not melted 🙂 Depending on microwave you may need to do it for a couple more seconds but nothing major or you’ll melt it!
