Thanksgiving in the Great Smoky Mountains: will there still be leaves? Hey gang, looking to drive down to Tennessee from points north on the US Thanksgiving weekend. Can I expect there to still be leaves on the trees that late in the season? I'm not concerned with "peak foliage", I just don't want to drive ten hours to see bare sticks.
