LPT: Keep a spare change of clothes in your car. Even if it's a simple as a pair of underwear, t-shirt and sweatpants, it can be a godsend if your clothes get ruined I do this for myself but also for my kid. Even though we normally carry a bag with her that has extra clothes, I've had to use the "car clothes" a couple of times.
