Days or even weeks after, I take their recommendation, and let them know! I found that I’d have great conversations with people at parties, but even though we exchanged numbers, I’d never really know how to follow up and turn it into a friendship. Asking for a recommendation during the conversation, and then following up after has worked really well for me! Benefits here:
