What songs had a single version and a long version, and which version do you like better? Tommy James and the Shondells released two versions of Crimson and Clover, and oh boy is the longer version better. At this point I get very annoyed if a classic rock radio station plays the shorter version without all the brilliant guitar work in the middle of the song.
