Why do they say animated shows are more expensive than live action shows? An “expensive” prime time animated tv show like Clone Wars or Family Guy usuallly has a budget of 1-2 million dollars per episode, however, the average popular live action sitcom has a budget of at least 5 million per episode. So why do people keep saying animation is too expensive for networks to keep green lighting compared to live action show...
