Why do my interest and principal payment amounts fluctuate so wildly?
Why do my interest and principal payment amounts fluctuate so wildly? Looking to take over a family member's car loan. Got access to the app for some info but one month $40 goes to principal and $310 to interest and then another month 3 months after $185 goes to principal and $155 to interest. Each month seems to just a random amount of money from principle to interest. The call center has been no help to me.
