What’s a concert you went to where the opening act was better than the headliner? In the early 90’s I saw Faith No More open for Billy Idol in Chapel Hill NC, and they showed up to kill. Mike Patton was in fantastic voice, and the band tore it up. War Pigs and Surprise, You’re Dead really got the crowd going. In contrast, Billy Idol was in a cast from a motorcycle accident, and appeared to be on some pretty serious pain meds....
