Recovering from divorce I'm recently divorced at 50. I bought out of alimony. I paid off all debt. I paid off the lawyer. What's left (my portion) is $150,000 in equity from the home, about $75,000 in 401Ks (sheesh), and about $40,000 in stocks. I've tried talking to financial advisors but I got panned by two.
