How can I secure a lens on a tripod without a lens collar?
How can I secure a lens on a tripod without a lens collar? I have an old Nikon 80-200 f4.5 and there are no tripod collars for it. There is a collar for the lens adapter I'm using, but the only seller with it in stock has blocked me. I don't feel comfortable attaching my camera to the tripod because the lens is so heavy.
