Did you ever swear a song was created by "band X" but it was actually "band Y"? I'm not talking about a remake, but the song you remember. For me I would have bet money that the song "Hello It's Me" by Todd Rundgren was done by Carol King. A few years ago I was looking for it online and I couldn't find it except under Todd Rundgren which I assumed was a remake. I was wrong and realized it after I finally listened to what I thought was his remake.
