Spent thousands on foreign products. Never got asked to pay taxes? Recently went to Japan and spent thousands on tax free purchases. After arriving to LA and grabbing my luggage, I just went through the exit. I never was asked about my purchases nor did i see a kiosk. Aren’t i supposed to declare these items and pay taxes on them? Would they ever hunt me down for this? Especially when filing my taxes
