Am I Stupid For Not Wanting To Own An Apartment? I'm in my early 30s and have recently inherited a big sum of money - just enough to buy a 1bd apartment in San Diego, where I live. Everyone I know advises me to make that step and buy an apartment of my own. But I'm just not interested in that. I'm happy being a renter, and don't require much in terms of space. I'm scared of owning my own place...
