Who writes the orchestral parts of rock songs?
Who writes the orchestral parts of rock songs? I was just listening to Reasons For Waiting by Ian Anderson, and there's an orchestral part. I don't think Anderson had an extensive music education, so who writes the violin parts and such on this and other rock songs? Are there orchestral ghost writers who listen to the song and then write the accompanying parts?
