Why aren't there more Shane-typr TV shows nowadays where a protagonist comes to a new town every episode and solves the problems/crime? Lately I've been watching the Renegade reruns on YouTube and remembered in the past there were plenty of TV shows where a Shane-type of character (mysterious stranger with a past) travels the country and solves the crimes and helps the people along the way using the previous acquired skills.
