Sent through passport control and customs on flight from Athens to Nice? Today I flew from ATH to NCE on Aegean. Upon landing everyone was sent through passport control, travelers who only had their ID were confused, and my passport (USA) was stamped again, so I have two entry stamps and in a week I'll get one exit stamp when I return home.
