LPT: Socks over your shoes to stop slipping in ice and snow If you get caught slipping down your driveway, foot bridge, or whatever else, take the socks off your feet and put them over your shoes instead. Even if it's just the toes. Might make for some gross socks, but it beats falling and getting hurt! Especially if you don't have crampons handy
