I am interested in the Sony A7iv & a Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 lens. Is this overkill for a hobbyist? I’ve dabbled with older DSLRs and a Canon AE-1 but I think I’m ready for mirrorless. I want a kit that will allow me to print quality poster-size images. Looking to cap my budget around $3K USD. Should I look at other options or is the Sony/Sigma set a good starting point?
