Can you buy travel insurance from other countries, or does it have to be from where you are flying from? I am a British Citizen currently living Australia (since March 2024) and will be travelling to Thailand in Jan and returning back to Aus in February. . Do I buy travel insurance from a UK Insurer, or do I buy one from an Australian company? Im assuming UK insurers would require me to be flying out of the UK and Australian insurers may not cover...
