Shows you have to power through to get to the good stuff? Recently got reminded of someone having to "power through" a rough first season. In this case, Babylon 5. I've tried to get people to view it but there are some hurdles for first-time watchers to get past. Season 1 is a bit dated. However, the show really coalesces and finds its stride in s2-4.
