Inherited an IRA from my dad. Can I sell assets and buy VTI and VXUS tax-free INSIDE the IRA? My dad died in January and I inherited his IRA. There are 24 different assets in there. Can I sell them and buy VTI/VXUS without having to pay taxes? I want to do everything INSIDE the IRA (I'm not cashing anything out).
