Lens Question for Travel/Birding: AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR -vs- AF-P NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6E ED VR? Current setup: Nikon D3400 + kit 18-55 and kit 55-300 non VR. Typical photography: birding, travel, landscape, nature, very occasionally urban photography from my bike. I've been pretty pleased with what I've been able to manage with kit lenses for a few years except for birding, where my shots are more so documentation than anything presentable...
