I'll potentially be in London January 6 - 15th and staying at the Sea Containers in the south of the city completely solo. What are some things you recommend despite the winter? I've never been to London/Europe in general and was originally quite skeptical because of the new year/weather and maybe wanting to wait for the spring but saw the prices of air line tickets and bit the bullet for next month. Also thought about seeing Scotland or Normandy for a day if anyone had any advice on how to get there easily.
