Kid got kicked out of school after I paid with 529, what now? I ended up paying about $7500 this semester for my kid's tuition, room, and board out of the 529, but she got in trouble and kicked out after the withdrawal date. Now, she has to pay back her Pell Grant ($2500) in addition to a few fees from the semester, and I'm worried about the tax bill+fees for the $7500 if it might be no longer 'a qualified...
