What compatible products can I use to prevent my makeup from separating? I know this can happen when you use a mix of silicone and water based products but I’m unsure if I’ve mixed any. My face doesn’t look cakey until separating occurs about 1 hr later. I know dehydration is also a factor here.

I’m planning on going to an event and want to make sure this doesn’t happen.
