Insurance denied inpatient service, hospital says they’re appealing. Should we wait? My child was recently admitted to a hospital as an inpatient, UHC denied the claim, hospital billing says it was a valid inpatient service and that they’re appealing. Should we begin the appeal process as well, or should we hold tight and check back in with the hospital?
