Can a bank buy the financing on a car? Hi all, I made a dumb mistake of buying a new car in 2023 with an interest rate of 7.1%. My spouse just got laid off so I'm afraid I won't be able to afford the car payments ($400/2 weeks approximately). I really don't want to ruin my credit. Can banks "buy" financing for the dealership and offer me a lower rate?
