When does it make sense to lock in profits – and what should I do next? I follow a buy-and-hold strategy and still have at least 27+ years until retirement. I typically never sell anything, but my portfolio is currently up over +$250k (S&P 500 ETF and Bitcoin). Does it make sense to “lock in” some profits at some point?
