LPT: Before you put your hose away for winter, put it on top of an incline such as a tree branch Then and pull through so all the water drains out the downward side since the water can't climb over the incline. That way it doesn't spill when you carry it into storage. I think you should also be able to wind it up in a circle. Tie it and then rotate it with the amount of windings it has so that all the water travels out like a wirtz pump.
