Is this a dead sensor on my old camera? How to prevent it? Found an old camera that hasn't been used in 7-8 years. Both the preview and the resulting photo are distorted. Battery isn't swollen/leaked; issue persists without memory card; LCD shows older photos just fine; it was kept in a pouch inside a cabinet, away from light and humidity.
