LPT: self-depreciating humor is never a good idea Like, imagine you call yourself an idiot to someone else. What are they gonna do? Nod, laugh and agree? It lowers your self esteem and can have a long term mental effect. I did it for years, but now I've stopped I feel a whole lot better about myself, and can come up with actual jokes that don't make people feel awkward.
