LPT how to make Refried beans taste like restaurant So I love me some refried beans, but when I buy them from the store (they come in a can) the consistency just isn't the same as when you get it in a restaurant. LPT that I learned was, mix a little sour cream in with the canned refried beans and it makes it smooth like butter. Consistency and taste are very close to restaurant quality
