Registering for US state sales tax as a foreign company Do any non-US companies have experience of registering for US state sales taxes? I am being told I need to first call the IRS and get an EIN company registration number, but will probably need an ITIN number as well in order to apply for the EIN ! Does this sound right? Are there other tax consequences of doing these registrations?
