Whats the benefit of getting a card that gives airline miles rather than straight cash back? I have an Amazon Visa which I use for everything. It gives 5% on Amazon, 2% gas and food, and 1% everything else. Usually I just take the rewards points and book it against my account as a balance credit. I don't really understand why so many credit cards are out there offer airline miles when it seems like it's the same deal as my credit card...
