Why does the airline have to “make a call” when I travel in internationally?
Why does the airline have to “make a call” when I travel in internationally? It’s happened several times when I leave the US or am flying back. I’m an American citizen with a passport. My check-in gets blocked and the airline at check in has to call customs and border control. What is happening? It always works out but it’s nerve wracking all the same.
