What was special about the Silent Alarm album by Bloc Party and why haven't Bloc Party been able to recreate the success of their debut album? In 2005 I was hearing banquet, helicopter, the modern love, blue light etc everywhere. Even on American sit-coms like how I met your mother or Disney channel adverts. None of their albums have achieved even close to the same level of recognition.
