What happens if the modifier is too close to the subject? A YouTube tutorial recommended having the modifier 1.4 - 2 diameter lengths from the subject. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-Ky541G8bw What's the downside of bringing the modifier closer to the subject? Wouldn't the light be softer, since the relative size of the modifier would be larger?
