Did I mess up? 401k advice 29 y/o So I had about $5k in a 401k from my first job out of college that I totally forgot about with Merrill. They said I could move it to a brokerage account with their Merrill Edge so I did that. Am I going to get taxed on this like crazy now since I took out my 401k? I have a number to call them on but wanted to get some third party opinions first ...
