What >autofocus< settings would you use for the best chance of keeping a human face in focus? Assume a casual setting with natural light, but they aren’t in active motion. I’m still struggling with consistently getting the face, especially the eyes, in focus when taking casual portraits (ie not in a studio setting). Many times the face is soft and just a wee bit out of focus, regardless of lighting. I typically use the Canon RF 50mm or 85mm (not the L series).
