Watching the show Sea Patrol The Australian show about a Navy Patrol Boat. It's pretty good IMO. But one thing I have noticed about Ozzies is they like to take a mate's name and add an O. But in the show, there is a person assigned as the Executive Officer. In the US Navy that person is nicknamed, XO. But in the Ozzie show she is called X. What happened to the O?
