Are some countries dimmer than others?
Are some countries dimmer than others? I'm a photographer based in England and every time I take light meter readings, regardless of which camera or dedicated light meter I use, a bright sunny blue sky day reads at EV13-13.5. Every film I've shot has come out best exposed for this (typically 1/125 and f/8 for ISO 100), including slide films like Velvia with a margin of error of 1/3EV...
