Saving for a house; seeking advice around down payment and investing My wife and I are both 40 with a 3 year old. Annual household income is ~370K (this is fairly recent to be making this much). No loans, no debt, daycare is $26K/year and our spending is quite under control. We max out our 401Ks and backdoor Roth IRAs yearly; as well as contribute $700/month to the kid's 529. We each have a credit score of 780+. ...
