For people in an orchestra, how do you feel playing concerts with pop artists?
For people in an orchestra, how do you feel playing concerts with pop artists? I've always wondered how symphony musicians feel about playing pop concerts with popular musicians (Ben Folds, Lana Del Ray, Bobby Weir, etc.). Are they happy to play for a new audience and people who have passion for music? Is it insulting to play pop music? A mix of emotions, depending on which person you ask?
