LPT on a flight, don’t pay for a cabin bag, take 2 small carry on bags! Obviously this rule only applies if you have enough to put into 2 carry on bags or backpacks. I rarely go away without taking check in luggage as I usually go for a week and usually share check in luggage with someone or have my own.
