LPT - Wrap NEW earbud and headphones cord connection points with tape Duct tape or other stretch tape, at the earbud and other connection points. Basically every cord now is connected without adhesive, made to break. Wrapping them before use makes the last waaaaay longer. Counts for other high-use electronic cords too.
