Visiting Washington DC. Traveling into city and parking. Hotels in Washington DC are expensive and so is parking at the hotel (approx. $53 per day ). I was thinking of staying in Arlington, Virginia and driving into the city (20 min drive, as per Google maps). Public parking is approx $35.
