LPT Whenever you get a school or work email, have them forwarded to your regular email. If they "deactivate it", they typically just remove access. I still use this today. I've retained very expensive full software suites because I get my emails from my .edu forwarded and categorized in my main Gmail even though I can't access the email account anymore.
