Should you use multi pixel shift for photographing the moon and the stars? So I've recently decided to try the pixel shift mode on my sony a7, and decided to try it out on the moon. Normally pixel shift doesn't work on targets like the moon, but sony's proprietary photo editor has a movement compensation which seems to do the trick. But honestly, I can't tell the difference between the photo quality with the pixel shif...
