How can I get better wildlife shots dealing with obstructions? I’ve been taking pictures of deer at a heavily wooded wildlife refuge using a Canon 60D w/ 75-300mm 1:4-5:6 III. I don’t currently have a tripod, so it’s handheld shots. I’ve had decent results with automatic modes, but I think my inability to do things manually in creative modes is starting to hold me back.
